Removing, Installing, and Replacing Components

Setting the Configuration Switches

Remove any add-in cards (see

“Removing an Add-in Card”

page 25).

Set the switches as needed (see

“Configuring the System Board”

page 18).

Replace any add-in cards removed in step 1 (see

“Installing an Add-

In Card”

on page 24).

Before opening the system unit, save any open files, exit Windows, turn off

the power of the computer and all attached peripherals, and then unplug the
power cord.
