You can check the playing time and remaining
time of the current track or that of the disc.
Checking the remaining time
and titles (VIDEO CD/CD/MP3)
Press DISPLAY during Normal Play.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
x When playing a CD/MP3/VIDEO CD
without PBC function (Ver. 1.1)
Current track number and elapsed playing time
t Current track number and remaining time

t Remaining time of the disc

“– –.– –” appears when playing back MP3 audio
tracks.

“– –.– –” appears in ALL DISCS, SHUFFLE or
program play mode or when playing back MP3
audio tracks.

When the disc contains more than 20 tracks,
CD-TEXT is not displayed from track 21 on.
4)
When you play back a track with an ID3 tag ver. 1,
the ID3 tag appears. The ID3 tag displays only the
track title information.
x When playing a VIDEO CD with PBC
function (Ver. 2.0)

time and titles (VIDEO CD/CD/
MP3)
Press DISPLAY in stop mode.

TOC = Table of Contents; displays current disc
number, total number of tracks on the disc, and total
playing time of the disc.

For discs with MP3 audio tracks, album names or
volume label may not be displayed depending on
the play mode.

For CD-TEXT discs (certain characters cannot be
displayed) and discs with MP3 audio tracks.
For a MP3 audio disc, either the Disc title or Album
name of the current disc is displayed.
x When a VIDEO CD/CD/MP3 is in Program
