3. Connecting

3-1. Installation in the LT100

1. Remove the decorative panel from one of the BCD•RS-232C board connection slots (EXT.

1 or EXT. 2) on the rear panel of the LT100 display unit and insert the BCD board.

2. Secure the BCD board firmly using the screws that held the decorative panel.

•

The BCD•RS-232C board connection slots (EXT. 1, EXT. 2) can be used for either the
BCD board or an RS-232C board (option: LZ60-C). These boards operate in either slot.

•

The LZ-60B1 can use the in5 V power supply as + common by setting the DIP
switches on the board. See “7. BCD Output” in the LT100 instruction manual.

Notes

•

Be sure to turn off the power before connecting the BCD board. Inserting or removing the
BCD board with the power on may damage the display unit and the BCD board.

•

Only one BCD board can be connected. Connecting two BCD boards at the same time
will cause misoperation.
