Manual tuning preset
You can manually tune in and store the
frequency of your favorite stations.

Press FU/– (or FUNCTION on
the unit) repeatedly until “TUNER”
appears in the display.

Press BAND (or TUNER/BAND on the
unit) repeatedly to select “FM” or
“AM”.

Press TUNING MODE repeatedly until
“MANUAL” lights up in the display.

Press /– repeatedly to tune in
the station you want.

Press TUNER MEMORY (or MEMORY
on the unit).
A preset number flashes in the display. The
stations are stored from preset number 1.

Press /– repeatedly to select
the preset number you want.

Press ENTER (or TUNER ENTER on the
unit).
“Complete!” appears in the display. The
station is stored.

Repeat steps 2 to 7 to store other
stations.
Other Operations
To improve tuner reception
When the tuner reception is poor, set the DVD
power manage function to “DVD POWER
OFF”.
The default setting is “DVD POWER ON”.
Use the buttons on the unit for the operation.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until “ DVD ”
appears in the display.

Press ?/1 to turn off the system.

Press ?/1 while holding down x ( DVD ).
The system turns on automatically.
“DVD POWER OFF” appears in the display.
To set to “DVD POWER ON”
Repeat the procedure above and “DVD POWER
ON” appears in the display.
Notes
• When “
DVD
POWER OFF” is selected, disc access
time is increased.
• You cannot change the
DVD
power manage setting
in Power Saving Mode (page 60).
