Overview
The LA-EB1 Mount Adaptor (referred to as the “unit”) is an adaptor
for attaching a B4 lens (referred to as the “lens”) to a PXW-FS7-series
camcorder (referred to as the “camera”) with an E-mount
interchangeable lens system.
Supported by the following camera software versions.
PXW-FS7: V4.31 and later
PXW-FS7M2: V1.21 and later
Notes
ˎ
An XDCA-FS7 or CBK-FS7BK must be attached to the camera and
power must be supplied from the DC OUT connector of the unit.
ˎ
Lenses that do not support serial digital communication cannot be
used.
Usage Precautions
ˎ
Be careful not to subject this unit to mechanical shock while
attaching and using it.
ˎ
Avoid changing the lens in dusty or dirty locations.
ˎ
Do not touch the lens signal contacts. Any dirt on the lens contacts
may interfere with the signal between the lens and the camera,
resulting in operational malfunction.
ˎ
Do not touch the interior of the unit. If there is any stubborn dirt or
dust, use a blower.
ˎ
When carrying this unit, attach the mount caps on both the camera
side and lens side, and place the unit in a carrying case.
ˎ
When carrying the camera with a lens attached, hold both the
camera and lens.
Storing the unit
ˎ
Always attach the mount caps on both the camera side and lens side
of the unit.
ˎ
To prevent mold, do not keep this unit in a very humid place for a
long time.
Condensation
ˎ
If the unit is suddenly taken from a cold to a warm location, or if
ambient temperature suddenly rises, moisture may form on the
outer surface of the unit and/or inside of the unit. This is known as
condensation. If condensation occurs, turn off the unit and wait
until the condensation clears before operating the unit. Operating
the unit while condensation is present may damage the unit.
Cleaning
ˎ
Do not use any organic solvent, such as thinners or benzine to clean
this unit.
