
To help reduce data usage

Find and tap Settings > Data usage > Data Saver.

Tap the slider to enable or disable the function.
To turn data traffic on or off

Find and tap Settings > Data usage.

Tap the Mobile data traffic slider to turn data traffic on or off.
When data traffic is turned off, your device can still establish Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
connections.
To set a data usage warning

Make sure that cellular data traffic is turned on.

Find and tap Settings > Data usage > Billing cycle.

Tap the slider beside Set data warning, then tap Data warning, enter the
desired data limit and tap SET. You receive a warning notification when the
amount of data traffic reaches the level you set.
To set a cellular data limit

Make sure that cellular data traffic is turned on.

Find and tap Settings > Data usage.

Tap Billing cycle and tap the slider beside Set data limit, then tap OK.

To set the data usage limit, tap Data limit, enter the desired data limit and
tap SET.
Once your cellular data usage reaches the set limit, cellular data traffic on your device gets
turned off automatically.
To control the data usage of individual applications

Find and tap Settings > Apps.

Tap the application that you want to control, then tap Data usage.
The performance of individual applications may be affected if you change the related data
usage settings.
To check your data usage
1
Find and tap Settings > Data usage.
2
To view information about the amount of data transferred via cellular data
connection, tap Cellular data usage.

To view information about the amount of data transferred via Wi-Fi
connection, tap the Wi-Fi data usage under Data usage.
Selecting a SIM card for data traffic
This function only applies for Dual SIM devices.
If you are using a Dual SIM device, you can select which SIM card handles data at
any given time. You can do this during the initial setup of your device, or you can
select or change it later via the Settings menu.
To change the SIM card used for data traffic

Find and tap Settings > Dual SIM > Mobile data traffic.

Select the SIM card you want to use for data traffic.
For higher data speeds, select the SIM card that supports the fastest cellular network, for
example, 4G.
