BLUETOOTH CONNECTION METHOD

Refer to the following procedure when connecting this unit and a
BLUETOOTH device via BLUETOOTH connection to check the
operation.
This unit can connect two BLUETOOTH devices (two mobile phones,
or a mobile phone and an audio device).

Note 1:

After perform a BLUETOOTH connection, be sure to clear the
connection history by referring to “INITIALIZATION METH-
OD” on page 8.

Note 2:

The liquid crystal display is an example of DSX-GS80. The liquid

crystal display of DSX-M80 will be black characters on a white
background.

Connection procedure:

1. Connect the power cord to the regulated DC power supply, and

turn the power on of this unit.

2. Press the [PUSH ENTER MENU/ VOICE] button, and rotate

the control dial to display the “BLUETOOTH”. Then press the
[PUSH ENTER MENU/ VOICE] button again.

3. Rotate the control dial to display the “PAIRING” and press the

[PUSH ENTER MENU/ VOICE] button.

4. Rotate the control dial to display the “DEVICE 1” or “DEVICE

2” and press the [PUSH ENTER MENU/ VOICE] button.

(This unit is enters to the pairing standby state, and the BLUE-
TOOTH logo ( ) in the display window of this unit is

5. Operate the BLUETOOTH device you want to pair with this

unit to detect this unit.

6. Select the model name of this unit displayed on the screen of the

BLUETOOTH device, and perform the pairing.

(During pairing, the BLUETOOTH logo ( ) in the display win-
dow of this unit is lighting state)

Note 3:

If passkey input is required on the BLUETOOTH device, input

“0000”.

Note 4:

“DEVICE 1” or “DEVICE 2” in the display window of this unit

will be changed to the paired device name after pairing is complete.
