Self-timer
Shoots an image using the self-timer after a designated number of seconds have elapsed since the SHUTTER/MOVIE
button was pressed. Use the 5-second/10-second self-timer when you are going to be in the picture, and use the 2-
second self-timer to reduce camera-shake caused by pressing the SHUTTER/MOVIE button.
Menu item details
The mode determines the number of seconds until a picture is taken after the SHUTTER/MOVIE button is pressed.
Self-timer: 10 Sec
Self-timer: 5 Sec
Self-timer: 2 Sec
Hint
Press the SHUTTER/MOVIE button again to stop the count of the self-timer.
To exit the self-timer mode, select MENU → (Camera Settings1) → [Drive Mode] → [Single Shooting].
To use the self-timer in bracket mode, select bracket mode under drive mode, then select MENU → (Camera Settings1) →
[Bracket Settings] → [Selftimer during Bracket].
