you press the release button.
Vertical lines appear around
lights or candle flames, etc.,

Auto focus does not work when
shooting at night.
Camera will not play back.
Cannot erase a picture.
There is interference on the
picture or LCD monitor.
A card is not inserted in the
camera.
There are no more remaining
shots.
Files names for pictures
recorded on the card have
reached 99999.
This occurs when there is a
strong contrast between the
background and the subject.
Auto focus may not work when
taking pictures at night, or if the
subject is dark.
Power/mode dial is not set to
PLAY.
The battery needs to be
