Playing a CD

Playing an 8-cm (3-inch) CD

(for the customers having purchased JE.W, HK2, CN2 and E13 models)

You cannot play an 8-cm CD on this CD player without using an adaptor. Make sure to attach an
8-cm CD adaptor to the CD before inserting it into the player.

• Do not insert an 8-cm CD only into the slot.
• Do not insert an 8-cm CD adaptor CSA-8 only into the slot.

If you do, try to remove it by turning the slot side down and shaking the player. In some cases
you will not be able to remove it.

Attaching an adaptor to an 8-cm CD

Slide the CD into the inner groove and under two
of the tabs on the inner circle of adaptor in the
numbered order.

Pull the third tab out away from the CD and the
CD will slip into place. Release the third tab and
the CD will be held firmly in place.

Check that all the tabs are even with the surface of
the adaptor.
Also check that the CD is set correctly in the
grooves of the adaptor.

Removing the CD

Press 

x

•CHG to stop playing the CD.

Pull out the OPEN/EJECT tab and slide it.
The CD appears from the slot.

Remove the CD, and press the CLOSE button to
close the shutter of the CD compartment.

Push back the OPEN/EJECT tab.

Note

If you pull out the OPEN/EJECT tab without pressing 

x

•CHG in step 1, the CD may be damaged or

malfunction may occur.

If the tabs protrude, press them
back down into place. Otherwise,
the player may malfunction.
