Exposure Comp.

You can adjust the exposure manually in 1/3 EV steps in a range of –3.0 EV to +3.0 EV.

Press the /

(Exposure Comp.) on the control wheel.

Select the desired value using the control wheel.

Adjusting the exposure for better looking images

: Overexposure (too much light)

: Correct exposure

: Underexposure (too little light)

When the image shot is overexposed, adjust [Exposure Comp.] to the minus side.
When the image shot is underexposed, adjust [Exposure Comp.] to the plus side.

Notes

If you shoot a subject in extremely bright or dark conditions, or when you use the flash, the
exposure adjustment may not be effective.
