Chapter 5 Displays in ON LINE Mode
When an Error (Warning) occurred in Both the Library
and the Drives at the Same Time
When an error condition exists in the drives and then an error occurs in the
library, the error in the library is displayed first over the error in the drives. The
Error/Warning LED lights in the same way as the occurrence of other errors.
Display
Upper line: Indicates that an error occurred in the library.
Lower line: Displays the details of error (AA/BB CC)
AA: Additional Sense Code (Same as SCSI ASC)
BB: Additional Sense Code Qualifier (Same as SCSI ASCQ)
CC: Additional Error Code (Values for debug)
Button Operations
“Up” button:
Confirms the switching to USER mode.
“Down” button:
No associated function.
“Enter” button:
No associated function.
“Cancel” button:
No associated function.
Notes
Unless an error in the library is recovered, an error (warning) in the drives is not
displayed. When the error in the library is recovered, the LCD panel displays an
error (warning) in the drives.
