2-1.  RESETTING TO FACTORY DEFAULTS AFTER BOARD REPLACEMENT

Traditional Service Mode is not available in this chassis. The only option for service technicians is to reset all of the settings to the Factory Default from 
the Self Diagnostic screen.

CAUTION

: Resetting the TV to the Factory Defaults will 

over-write all customer settings 

including Parental Lock setting

.

 Before performing this reset, 

contact the customer to determine what adjustments they have made. 

1.  Turn on the TV. 

2.  While holding down the   button on the remote control, on the TV press and hold the 

MENU

 button until “reset” displays at the bottom left corner of 

the screen. 

 

The TV turns itself off, then turns back on again.

 

The Initial Setup screen displays.

3.  Use the Initial Setup screen options to reset the TV to the factory settings.
