Disable Touchless Tare Feature
You may wish to turn off the “TOUCHLESS TARE” feature
and use only the buttons to tare out a weight. To disable the
“TOUCHLESS TARE” feature:
1. Turn scale on and wait for the display to show zero. The
scale will automatically default to the “TOUCHLESS TARE”
feature each time it is turned on.
2. Press and hold the “UNIT” button. The “TOUCHLESS
TARE” feature is now disabled.
3. The “
q
” button will function as the “TARE” button. Press
“
q
” to tare (zero) out a weight.
4. Press and hold “
q
” to turn the scale off. The next time the
scale is turned on, the “TOUCHLESS TARE” feature will
be active again. Repeat step 2 to disable the “TOUCHLESS
TARE” feature again.
Precautions & Display Messages
1. Clean exposed parts with a soft, slightly damp cloth. This
scale meets IPX7 Waterproof requirements, so this entire
unit can be washed down with water. This allows for easy
cleaning and high sanitary conditions. Do not immerse
in water for longer than 30 minutes. Before washing the
scale, be certain the battery compartment cover is securely
attached. Failure to do so may result in water entering the
scale and causing permanent damage which will void your
warranty. Avoid contact with acids, such as citrus juices.
2. Do not tamper with the scale’s internal components. Doing
so will invalidate the warranty on this unit and may cause
damage. The scale contains no user-serviceable parts
3. Although your scale is designed to be maintenance-free, it
contains sensitive electronic parts. Avoid rough treatment.
Treat it with care to ensure the best performance.

intended for commercial or medical use.
