• SPEED button
Press the SPEED button to select the desired fan speed (Low / Medium / High). The
sequence is as follows: MI – HI – LO – MI. The corresponding indicator light will illumi-
nate during operation.
• VANE button
If you want to ventilate a larger area, press the VANE button. The louvers will tilt up or
down to provide airlow to a wider area. The vane indicator light will illuminate during
operation. To cancel the vane mode, just press the VANE button again, and the vane
indicator light will switch off. Adjusting the horizontal louvers upwards or downwards
can further improve airlow.
• TIMER button
Set the timer by pressing the TIMER button to select the desired time, between 0.5 and
7.5 hours. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
• MODE button
The default fan setting is Normal. Press the MODE button to change the fan setting. The
sequence is as follows:
NORMAL NATURAL SLEEP
The fan mode can be changed during operation. The indicator light will illuminate.
• COOL button
Please note that the COOL indicator light will lash when you press the COOL button
when it is cooling or if there is no or insuficient water in the water tank.
Before operating the unit in cooling mode, make sure the drainage valve for the water
tank is inserted correctly. Then add clean water to the water tank. While adding the
water, make sure that you keep an eye on the water level indicator to ensure that you
do not overill or underill the unit. After you have added the water, press the COOL
button and the unit will start to blow cool air. The cool indicator light will illuminate. If
you press the COOL button again, it will stop cooling, and the cool indicator light will
also switch off.
If you ind that the air after following Step 1) is not cool enough, you can insert addi-
tional ice blocks into the water tank by opening the water tank cover. Be sure not to
exceed the water tank capacity otherwise damage to the unit or electric shock may
occur.
If you wish to use a freezer ice pack instead of ice blocks, simply place the freezer ice
pack directly into the tank. Cooling performance will be enhanced if you place the
freezer ice pack in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours before use.
Pull out the water tank to reill or clean it.
