1 Warning notices
Please read the instructions for use carefully before initial operation and observe the safety instructions to
avoid damage due to incorrect or improper operation and impermissible ambient conditions. Keep them in a
safe place for future reference.
After removing the packaging, check the device for damage. If you suspect damage, do not operate the equip-
ment and contact a qualified Sartorius service technician. Do not store or dispose of the recyclable packaging
material in a place where young children can reach it.
This device may only be used for the purpose for which it was expressly designed. Any other use is considered
improper and therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for any personal injury and/or damage to pro-
perty resulting from improper or incorrect use.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or older and by persons with reduced physical, senso-
ry or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have received
instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved. Children must not

Repairs to electrical equipment should only be carried out by qualified personnel. Improperly carried out

• Keep flammable and explosive objects away from the device. Also keep it away from fire and heat sources.
• Do not touch the air outlet when the unit is in operation.
• Keep the air inlet and its surroundings clear so that the unit is not blocked and the risk of fire or malfunction
is avoided.
• Do not allow water or raindrops to enter the product to avoid electric shock. Do not place flammable ob-
jects or wet clothes on the air outlet to prevent short circuit or fire.
