Saving Recordings to Videotape

ReplayTV is not intended to be used as a long-term storage device. You can free up more recording space by transferring your
recordings to videotape and watching them on your VCR.
Before saving a recording to videotape, make sure your VCR is connected properly to ReplayTV. See “Connecting ReplayTV to a
VCR” on page 10 for more information.

•

To save a recording to videotape:

1.

Turn on your VCR.

2.

Insert a videotape into your VCR.

3.

Press REPLAY GUIDE.

4.

Highlight the recording you want to save to videotape.

5.

Press SELECT.

6.

Select Save to VCR.

7.

Select Continue to start the countdown.

8.

Press Record on your VCR.

• While the recording is being saved to videotape, do not press

any buttons on the ReplayTV remote control. On-screen dis-
plays will be recorded if they appear.
