Establishing a connection with the meter
Note:
Before first use, please charge the keyboard (internal battery).

1. Turn on the keyboard by sliding the
ON/OFF
switch to the
ON
position - after a
while, the LED lights up for 3 seconds.
2. Press and hold for a moment the "pairing/connecting" button – The LED will
flash (double flash, pause, etc.). The keyboard will wait for the connection with
the meter up to three minutes. Then the LED stops flashing.
3. Now the keyboard is in the pairing/connecting mode and it waits for the
connection with the meter - the details of how to proceed can be found in the
MPI-530 / 530-IT Meter User Manual.
Note:
If the battery is discharged, the green LED will be lit.
Charging rechargeable battery
In order to charge the keyboard (internal battery), connect the keyboard to the
USB port using the cord supplied with the keyboard.
Charging is indicated by illumination of the red LED. When the device is fully
charged, the LED goes out.
