Before using the product for the rst time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for
later reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language.
The universal remote control is an ideal solution for replacing the original remote controls. It cannot be expected to
make every function aside from the basic ones controllable. Try multiple codes for a given device.
Main functions:
manual code input, code search according to brand name, manual code search, automatic code search
MANUAL CODE INPUT
Turn the device on with its original remote control, or manually
Press and hold for 4 seconds the button corresponding to the type of the device, e.g. TV, until the
red LED
starts to light continuously.
Then with the included CODE LIST booklet choose the appropriate code and type it in using the numeric buttons. If the code is valid
then the
red LED
goes off. If the code is invalid then the
red LED
button remains lit. In this case try another code.
After inputting a valid code try out the remote control. If not satised with the result choose another code.
CODE SEARCH ACCORDING TO BRAND NAME
Turn the device on with its original remote control, or manually
From table 1. choose the brand name (e.g. SAMSUNG) from the appropriate type column (e.g. TV). In this row at its beginning read
the INDEX DIGIT number (e.g.: in case of a TV, SAMSUNG brand, the INDEX DIGIT = 6).
Press and hold for 4 seconds the button corresponding to the type of the device, e.g. TV, together with the INDEX DIGIT number (e.g.
in case of SAMSUNG button 6), until the red LED button starts to blink continuously. The remote control sends the different shutdown
signals every 2 seconds. When the device shuts down release both buttons.
Try the remote control with the code chosen this way. If not satised with the result choose another code.
MANUAL CODE SEARCH
Turn the device on with its original remote control, or manually
Press and hold for 4 seconds the button corresponding to the type of the device, e.g. TV, until the red LED starts to light continuously.
Then the code can be switched using the CH+ (up) or CH- (down) button. When the device shuts down, it means it has found a valid
code, so press the OK button.
Try the remote control with the code chosen this way. If not satised with the result choose another code.
During search if a button is not pressed for 30 seconds, then the remote control will blink twice and exits the search mode without
saving any code.
AUTOMATIC CODE SEARCH
Turn the device on with its original remote control, or manually.
Press and hold for 4 seconds the button corresponding to the type of the device, e.g. TV, until the red LED starts to light continuously.
Now press the
button. The remote control sends the different shut down signals every 2 seconds. When the device shuts down, it
means it has found a valid code, so press the OK button. During automatic search the direction of the search can be changed by
pressing the CH+ and CH- buttons.
Try the remote control with the code chosen this way. If not satised with the result choose another code.
CODE READING
If by using any of these codes a working code is found, it is advised to write it down.
Press and the OK button for 2 seconds together with the button of the device for which the current code needs to be read ( e.g.: TV).
The red LED will start to blink.
Every series of blinks corresponds to one number, then comes a 1 second pause. 0 is equal to 10 blinks.
DIRECTING THE VOLUME CONTROL ON THE TV
If the remote control is not used in TV mode, but in e.g. in DVB-T mode, but the volume change is needed to be bound to the TV, the
following is needed to be done.
Press and hold the the devices button for 4 seconds from which the volume control needs to be transferred to the TV (e.g. DVB-T).
The red LED button will light up.
Now input the following code: 9908. With this the volume control transfer can be turned on or off.
This code will not change the code given to the device.
