Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original
instructions were written in the Hungarian language.
Two-pole voltage tester in a robust housing for measuring 6 - 400 Volts of direct and alternating voltage. The voltage levels and (in the
case of direct current) the polarity are indicated by red display LEDs.

Checking for the presence of
ALTERNATING VOLTAGE (AC)
in mains sockets (Figures 1
& 2)
• If there is a child protection lock in the socket, free the openings by carefully pressing the
two measuring heads simultaneously. Take care not to damage the lock with the sharp
measuring tips.
• Touch the two measuring tips to the poles in the socket.
• The indicator shows the approximate value of the voltage.
The LED indicators in the row
above the display, and corresponding to voltages lower than detected, will illuminate
.
• If all LEDs stay off, it may be assumed that no voltage is present in the socket. Check with
other methods if necessary!
Areas of application:
mains sockets, plugs, extension cords, distributors, sockets,
switches, fuse panels…
Checking for the presence of
DIRECT VOLTAGE (DC)
(Figure 3)
When measuring voltages below 24 Volts, keep the switches on both probes depressed at
the same time (position I). LEDs 3, 4, 5, and 6 will only work if you follow these directions
.
• Touch the two measuring heads to the poles. The smaller the voltage you are dealing
with, the more important a good contact is: the poles have to be cleaned of dirt (dust,
grease, paint).
•
if LEDs 4, 6 or 8 illuminate, the polarity of probe ”A” is (+) (Figure 4: LED 4 in the case of 6
V)
•
If LEDs 3, 5 or 7 illuminate, the polarity of probe ”A” is (-) (Figure 5: LED 4 in the case of 6
V)
• No indication in the case of a dead battery.
Areas of application:
low-voltage connectors, switches, adapters, power supplies,
automotive electrics, testing of batteries and accumulators from 6 V
Cleaning:
Use a soft dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use any aggressive cleaners and
liquids!
WARNINGS
• Warning! If the product is used not properly, it may result in damage of the protection
which is provided by the device!
•
In their default (“0”) setting, the switches do not interrupt the circuit between
the probe tips
!
• Measuring temperature: -10 - +55 °C
• The device must not be disassembled!
• Store only in rooms where the air is dry and clean.
• Not to be used in rain or in extremely high humidity.
• Work only with dry hands / palms.
• Never exceed 1 minute of operation!
• Measure for a maximum of 30 seconds in the highest measuring range (400V)!
• Check fault-free operation using a voltage source of known voltage before every use.
• Never touch the measuring tips during use!
• Repeat all measurements!
• Do not test voltages greater than 400 Volts!
• Never touch the metal touch tips, you may cause a short-circuit!
• The device may not be used anymore if the cable is damaged.
• Consult a qualified expert in the case of problems.
•
Only for indoor use, in a dry place
!
•
Keep out of reach of children!
!
IP51 means: Protection from dust accumulation. Protected against moisture
condensation.
