6.5.2.4 PLM/RLS Analysis
One night recording:
Define TIB (Time In Bed):
The markers “Lights OFF” (patient in bed) and “Lights ON“ (patient out of bed) define the relevant
analysis data.

Set Lights OFF: Right click on the raw data area at the time the patient goes to bed (check
body position, activity or marker)
→ select ”Lights off”

Set Lights ON: Right click on the raw data area at the time the patient gets out of bed (check
body position, activity or marker)
→ select “Lights on”
Note: There should be only one
“Lights OFF” and “Lights ON” marker in the recording.
Go to Tools
→
Edit markers and click on the symbol right beside the requested marker to
delete the marker. If you do not set a
“Lights OFF” or “Lights ON” marker, the complete
recording will be defined as TIB.
Recording with more than one night or Analysis of specific periods:
Mark a night or a specific period in the Analysis Window by holding the left mouse button pressed.
Right-click in the marked section and choose
Define
area as…
. Type in PLM as description
Accept your entry by clicking the OK button. Repeat these steps for all the nights ore periods you want
to analyse.
Go to
User areas in the Tools menu to delete wrong defined areas.
Attention: The definitions
PLM is a fixed definition.
It must be used to later display the proper Report Selection.
It is possible to manually edit the automatically detected events in both described variants.
Read chapter 7.5.
Click the symbol
and confirm by clicking
the
OK button.
