Programming a remote control

Plug the outdoor terminal into a mains socket.

Select the channel* you want on the remote control:
Press the channel selector button: the indicator light for the selected channel lights up. Press
the channel selector button as many times as required until the indicator lights show the desired
channel.

Press the programming button on the outdoor terminal until its indicator light flashes.

Using a thin implement, press the PROG button on the back of the remote control. The outdoor
terminal's indicator light comes on steadily and then goes out. The channel of the remote control
is programmed.

Check the programming of the channel by pressing the
button on the remote control.
The outdoor terminal's indicator light glows steadily if the channel is programmed.

Connect the device to be controlled to the outdoor terminal.
Switch on the device to be controlled.
The system is ready to operate.
Operation
Deleting one or more remote controls
To delete a programmed channel on the
outdoor terminal:
During this operation, unplug all other Somfy
remote control terminals and sockets in your
home.

The outdoor terminal must be plugged into a
mains socket.

Select the channel to be deleted using the
remote control's channel selector button
(refer to step
[2]
of the "Programming a
remote control" procedure).
[3].
Press the programming button on the outdoor
terminal until its indicator light flashes.
[4].
Using a thin implement, press the PROG
button on the back of the remote control. The
outdoor terminal's indicator light goes out.
The channel of the remote control is deleted.

Check deletion of the channel by pressing
the
button on the remote control. The
outdoor terminal's indicator light is no longer
lit if the channel is deleted.

* One channel corresponds to an individual remote control and can control one or more devices.

It is also possible to directly press the control button on
the outdoor terminal (briefly press) to control it.
Unplug the outdoor terminal if unused for an extended
period of time.
The programming is not deleted if the outdoor terminal
is unplugged from the mains.
To delete all remote controls and their programmed channels on
the outdoor terminal:
Press the programming button on the outdoor terminal until its indicator light flashes
and then goes out.
Check deletion of each channel by pressing the
button on the corresponding
remote control. The outdoor terminal's indicator light is no longer lit if the channel is
deleted.
During this operation, unplug all other Somfy remote control terminals and sockets in your
home.
