) MK Rails. Make sure the shoulder of the dowel

is flush against the rail. Then pre-drill pilot holes through the rails and into the dowels using a 1/8” drill
bit. This prevents the dowels from splitting. Notice the sides of the rails that the pre-drilled holes are on.

B: Attach the rails to the dowels through the pre-drilled holes using 3 (S3) #8 x 2-1/2” wood screws per rail.
