27. Before moving or cleaning the appliance, switch it off and 

wait for the fan to come to a standstill. Remove the power 
plug from the socket. This also applies when the appliance is 
not in use.

28. You should take particular caution when children, elderly 

persons or animals are nearby to the fan.

29.  The air flow from the fan should not be directed on elderly or 

sick people, or on children.

30.  Ensure that the fan can rotate freely and it’s oscillating move-

ment is not blocked by another item.
