5. SEALING A BAG FROM VACUUM BAG FILM
– Open the lid of your appliance (4) and clip the cutting
blade (6) upwards. Lie the vacuum film in the vacuum
film chamber (5) (see fig.
A
) and pull the end of the
film towards you.
– Press the cutting blade (6) back down, the film lies
underneath it (see fig.
B
).
Warning:
When pressing down the cutting blade,
make sure that the handle is to the far left or far right
of the blade. It must not be in the middle, otherwise
it won't cut the film properly (see fig.
B
).
– Pull the film until it is the correct length for the
necessary bag and slide the cutting handle in one
stroke to the left or right to the other end of the rail
(see fig.
C
).
Now you can seal the end of the bag.
– The appliance cover should still be in the open posi-
tion.
– Lay the open end of the bag onto the rubber contact
strip (9) (see fig.
D
).
– Close the cover and press it down both hands on each
side, until you hear a “click” at both sides. Now the
cover is locked in at both sides (see fig.
E
)
– Press the
Manual Seal (H)
button to start the sealing
program (see fig.
F
). The blue indicator light illumi-
nates. As soon as the sealing process is complete, the
light goes out.
– Press on both release buttons (2) to open the lid
(see fig.
G
).
– Open up the lid and remove the bag.
– Check that the seal is straight and does not have any
folds (see fig.
H
). If this is not the case, repeat the
process.
