6. Operation
WARNING

Do not cover the appliance
NOTICE
»
Before connecting the power plug
to the socket outlet, make sure the
power switches (J) are set to off.
»
Place the appliance on a stable, flat
and heat-resistant surface
»
Keep textiles, curtains, or any other
flammable material a minimum
distance of 1 m from the air
outlets (K)
1 Unwind the power cord (G) from the
cord retainer (H)
2 Connect the power plug (G) to a
suitable socket outlet
3 Turn the thermostat knob (A) clockwise
to the maximum setting.
4 Set the power switches (J) to on
to regulate the heating speed The

5 When the desired room temperature
has been reached, slowly turn the
thermostat knob (A) anticlockwise until
there is a click sound and the indicators
go off.
NOTICE The indicator on the power
switches (J) lights up and then goes
off periodically while maintaining the
desired room temperature
6 After use, set the power switches (J) to
off. Both indicators go off.
7 Disconnect the power plug (G) from the
socket outlet
6.2 Fan heater
The appliance can be used as a heating
fan for low power background heating for
small rooms
1 Press the fan heater button (I) to switch
the heating fan on
2 To switch off, press again the fan
heater button (I)
NOTICE The appliance switches off
automatically if it overheats due to an
accumulation of dust on the air vents
and air outlets (K)
6.3 Tip-over protection
When the appliance tips over or is lying
sideways, it switches off automatically. To
restart, place the appliance upright again
