1.
Batteries
– use the alkaline 1.5V batteries only. The recharegeable batteries with 1.2V are not sufficient. If
you use the rachargeable batteries which are partially discharged, the display may be difficult to read and the
device will think that the batteries are completely discharged.
2.
USB cabel
– with this cable you can´t recharge the batteries. It is used for direct powering of the device.
There is no danger to destroy inserted batteries. Plug the cable to the USB charging adapter 5V DC and then
connect it to the device. No matter the output current.
Note:
1. To achieve an accurate reading (especially for the first time of using), user should ensure there is no residue
inside the chamber before starting a new alcohol test. If there is residue left, the machine will take about 2
minutes to warm up the sensor & chamber when user presses the
CLEAN
key.
2. After any 5 consecutive tests, allow the device to rest for 2 minutes.
3. When the product is unused, please store in a dry environment.
4. When batteries are low for alcohol testing,
“LOB” flashes and then return to Real Time Clock mode. Please
replace the batteries immediately.
5. If th
e difference between two successive reading is >0.1‰BAC
(0.05mg/l or 0.01% BAC)
, you should repeat the
test.

Don´t block the gas outlet during the breath sampling, otherwise the reading will be affected.
7. After two minutes of inactivity, the analyzer goes into the sleep mode. For a total shut down, please remove the
batteries.
Storage and handling:
1. When the product is left unused, please store in a dry environment.
2. When low battery indicater flashes, the reading is not valid, please replace the batteries immediately or use
included USB cable.
3. This is an instrument for breath alcohol concentration, you should avoid drops from heights.
4. Please ask for the recalibration from your nearby service centre if such kind of abnormal impact occurred.
5. Recalibration: According to the international standard (e.g. DIN31051), all measurement instrument should be
recalibrated every 6 months.
