Safety instructions

This appliance complies with the applicable safety regulations. Improper use may
result in damage to persons and property.
Please read these instructions carefully before use and assembly. It contains
important information and tips on assembly, safety and maintenance.
Notes on structural requirements
When using a cooker bonnet in exhaust air mode, the following instructions must be
observed:
- In kitchens/rooms without an open fireplace, the air supply for the room should
at least be created in such a way that there is no negative pressure in this
room and the bonnet can function well.
- Important! In kitchens / rooms with an open fireplace, e.g. tiled stoves, coal
stoves, fireplaces, etc., a sufficient supply of fresh air must always be ensured.
The best way to do this is by means of an exhaust and supply air wall box or
by securing it with a window tilt switch. Check with your chimney sweep before
planning. Before commissioning, the bonnet as well as the exhaust and supply
air pipes must be removed by the master chimney sweep.
- Under no circumstances may the bonnet be connected to a flue or exhaust
chimney of other appliances (boilers, boilers, stoves, etc.) that are in
operation. It is also not allowed to use a chimney which serves the ventilation
of rooms or fireplaces.
- When connecting to decommissioned smoke or flue chimneys, the approval of
the responsible master chimney sweep must be obtained.
- The respective country building regulations must be observed!
