SNMP configuration > TRAP DESTINATIONS
An SNMP trap is a destination to which the UPS will send alarm notifications using the SNMP
protocol. For each destination, an IP address and a port must be specified.
Adding or deleting trap destinations is performed in the same manner as adding or deleting
communities.
The UPS supports the UPS MIB (Management Information Base) standard.
For additional information, refer to Section 8.2.7.3.1.
8.2.7.4.
(Optional feature) Setup > Connectivity > Serial Communication
Serial communication is an optional feature, available by special order.
This option enables serial communication between the UPS and an external device. Indicate the
port to be used and the baud rate. Select one of the ports from the list.
If your system includes this option, the serial communication connector is labeled "RS232" and is
located on the left side of the dry contact panel of the UPS.
