i) As long as the shape of the tree makes it possible, we advise you to position the
shaking head twenty-five centimetres above the harvesting box. Doing so, you will
get a better output from the head.
j) Centre as much as possible the trunk of the tree with respect of the “mouth”
opening of the harvester, so that the rubber “trunk-closing” pieces open well and
are in the right place to avoid fruits from falling onto the ground.
k) Check regularly that no dry branch nor any other element impede a proper access
to the peeler. If you have to remove something, the harvester must be stopped
before to do it to prevent any accident from happening.
l) Never drive rear from the tree if the umbrella is not fully closed because you could
damage seriously some parts of the umbrella.
m) Make sure that your first thing you do after vibrating a trunk is to open the pincer
head, to protect the tree and the harvester from any potential problem.
n) Never keep on working if the oil temperature rises over 70ºC. Your machine is
equipped with an electro-ventilator radiator. Make sure that it works properly.
o) Never use dirty oil, as you it could damage important parts of the hydraulic circuits.
