Input/Output Strobes
PPS output
j
A one-pulse-per-second time synchronization
output. This is a normally high, active low pulse
(1 ms ± 50ns) where the falling edge is the
reference.
Mark input
An input mark (negative pulse > 55 ns), time tags
output log data to the time of the falling edge of the
mark input pulse.
The electrical specifications of the strobe signals are as follows:
Output
Voltage: Standard LVTTL levels
Sink Current: 64 mA
Source Current: 15 mA
Input
Voltage: Standard TTL levels
Current:
≤
5 mA
a. High temperature operation (above 55
°
C) can be offered, but is not standard.
Operation below -20
°
C will reduce battery life longevity.
b. High temperature storage (above 60
°
C) can be offered, but is not standard.
c. Based on receiver without cables attached.
d. Does not include any biases due to RF or antenna delay.
e. Accuracy depends on the number of satellites used, obstructions, satellite geometry
(DOP), occupation time, multipath effects, atmospheric conditions, baseline length,
survey procedures, and data quality.
f.
68% RMS.
g.
Bluetooth
off, logging data at 10 s interval.
h.
Bluetooth
on, logging data at 1 s interval.
i.
COM2 RS232 port available with the use of a special “Y” cable (sold separately).
j.
