VLAN
Enable VLAN features is only available under Access Point or WDS AP mode, the VLAN option to
assign a specific 802.1q VLAN tag (VLAN ID) for all wireless clients and placed in the specified VLAN
group. Note, the 802.1q VLAN function (VLAN tag) should be configured on your Ethernet Switch
or Router.
RSSI Threshold
Enabled the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) threshold to set the radio waves (signal
strength) received by the wireless access point. In a wireless roaming network with multiple
wireless access points, enabled the RSSI threshold and set the threshold value to forcing the
disconnection of the wireless client device before the signal strength and connectivity are too low,
that will force the wireless client device to connect to another wireless access point with stronger
signal and connection rate.
Note, if the currently connected wireless access
point as long as the wireless signal can still be
discovered, the wireless client will maintain
connectivity to the current wireless access
point, enable and setup the RSSI threshold can
force the wireless client disconnected if the
wireless access point detect the wireless client's
wireless signal strength lower than the
threshold value.
