Chapter 9 – Stowing and Transporting

  9. Use a nylon strap to securely fasten the platform 

against the wood block. Thread the strap through 

the tie-down brackets at the front of the platform.

10.  Use chains or straps to securely fasten the aerial plat-

form to the transport vehicle using the tie-down lugs 

as attachment points. Proper tie-down and hauling 

are the responsibility of the carrier.
