17 Digital Video Recorder (DVR)
The SC5900 will automatically record the view in front of your vehicle
and will record all audio within range of the built-in microphone
using the integral high definition camera and recording software
which can record continuously.
For the DVR to record, the SC5900 must be switched ON.
To enter the DVR menu:

Press the centre of the screen to enter the
‘Navigate to’
menu.
●
Press the
‘Configure’
button.
●
Press the arrow twice.
●
Press the
‘DVR’
icon.

Resolution:
Chose between 720p and 1080p video resolution.
Gravity:
Adjust G- sensor sensitivity between Off, Low
medium & High.

Cycle:
Adjust the duration of the video clip/
loop. Options: Off (no recording) , 3 minutes,
5 minutes and 10 minutes.
Sound:
Switches audio recording On and Off
(microphone).
HDR
(High Dynamic Range): HDR improves
the video quality when the lighting changes
and it can provide brighter images in low
light.

Exposure:
Adjust the video exposure between -3 and +3
Motion:
Switches the motion sensor on and Off -
not applicable on
this model.
OSD
(On Screen Display)
:
The unit can display the date, time, GPS co-ordinates and speed on the video . Options: On or Off .
Minimise:
This will exit the DVR mode and return to the navigation menu.
Exit:
This will close the DVR menu ,the camera will close down,
stop
recording and return to the navigation menu.
Settings:
This will enter the setting menu.
Record :
This shows the status of the recording function
Recording Recording
stopped .
Note to enter the setting menu
and adjust any of the features the recording must be
stopped
.
Home:
Return to the DVR home menu.
Play:
Enter the playback menu.
Status
Current time (UTC). Current date: YYYY/MM/DD. Current resolution. Current shock/gravity sensor level. Video cycle/
loop duration.
Mode:
Changes the DVR mode from still camera to video camera.
Note:
the icon shows change option and not the current status.
