Product overview
The M58 SIP DECT Deskset, combined with the M500 Multi-cell SIP DECT Base
Station, is a full-featured SIP endpoint business phone system designed to work with
popular hosted IP PBX services and on-premise SIP PBXs� Once you have ordered and
configured your PBX service, the deskset enables you to make and receive calls as you
would with any other business phone�
Up to eight M58 desksets/M55 handsets can be registered per M500 base station�
The initial release of the M500 will support two M500 base stations connected in dual-
cell operation, but subsequent firmware releases will support additional M500 base
stations connected in multi-cell operation� Each deskset provides calling features
such as hold, transfer, conferencing, and speakerphone�
The M500 Multi-cell SIP DECT Base Station supports shared calls among multiple
cordless desksets/handsets with a single SIP account� With Shared Call Emulation, the
Programmable Feature Keys (PFKs) can be configured as KeyLine type, which enables
the keys to be used as for making calls, picking up held calls, and barging in calls�
The M58 KLE SIP DECT Deskset features include:
