4.4 Paper roll installation
4.4.1 Paper type confirmation
After connecting the power cord and interface cable, confirm paper type after media installation
before printing.
4.4.2 Install/replace paper roll
1) Turn off the printer;
2) Press cover open lever to pull out the printer mechanism;
3) Place the paper roll into the printer;
4) Pull out the paper head of paper roll, and close the printer.

Caution:
Adjust the paper guide according to paper specification: adjust the paper guide to
maximum width and place paper roll into the paper cabinet; rotate the thumb wheel to
adjust the paper guide to suitable place (1mm gap between paper roll and paper guide
should be reserved in case the paper roll is jammed); the winding direction of paper roll
should meet printer requirements.
Ensure that the paper roll is tightly wound; otherwise paper jam or other failure may occur;
Paper roll should be placed stably in the paper cabinet without incline, or the printing will be
affected.
