Save Data
The Data Management screen (Figure 5-8) lets you manage the storage memory of your unit and
your saved files. Data Management is not module-specific.

1— Top slot CompactFlash
®
card indicator
Displays which CF slot is selected in SETUP. The left icon is the Top CF slot and the right
icon is Master CF slot (Internal). The Top CF slot icon will be crossed out if there is no card
in the slot when it is the selected destination.
2— Internal memory indicator
Refers to the Master CF card in the side slot. The check mark indicates active status
3— USB storage device indicator
This selection is crossed out (as shown) unless a USB mass storage device is connected.
4— Memory usage indicator
Indicates the remaining storage capacity for the active storage memory.
From the Data Management screen, you can perform various management tasks using the
following upper toolbar buttons:
•
LOAD
lets you view saved test data.
•
EDIT
lets you add identifiers and notes to saved test data.
•
DELETE
lets you delete saved test data.
•
COPY
lets you copy saved test data and save it to another location.
•
MOVE
lets you move saved test data to another location.
•
SELECT ALL
lets you highlight all available saved test data at once.
•
INFO
opens a window showing the number of files saved and the amount of memory used.
•
SETUP
provides a shortcut to the Save Data utility that lets you set the global location for
where files save to and load from, either Internal memory storage or Top CF card memory
storage. You can also access this dialog box by selecting
Utilities > Tool Setup > Setup
.
