7b. On Oxygen and Air
(refer to Figure 3)
i) With oxygen still connected, reconnect the air supply.
ii) Set the Oxygen Concentration control to 21% (minimum).
iii) Turn on the air supply. The ‘single gas operation’ LED should not flash.
iv)
Select CMV + PEEP. After the initial 60 seconds only the ‘cycle’ LED should be flashing.
v) Select each of the settings specified on section 12b of Service Record Sheet.
vi) Repeat 12a vii), viii) and ix) above.
vii) Select ‘0’. All alarms should cease.
viii) Turn off and disconnect the air supply.
ix)
Disconnect the ratePAC.
