Setting the self cleaning cycle

1 With the oven ON, use the Function Selector Knob to select the self

cleaning function.

2 The display will look like the figure at left with the number 1 flashing

and all segments through 6 illuminated to indicate the length of the
self-cleaning cycle in hours and minutes. By pressing the hour keys

 or

after 1 to 2 seconds, you can increase or decrease the

length of the cycle (from a minimum of 1 hour and 30 minutes to a
maximum of 3 hours).

3 After 6 or 7 seconds following the last action performed by the user

on the programmer and the control knob, the self-cleaning cycle will
engage and one of the segments will go out with each minute that
goes by.

9.9

During and after the self cleaning cycle

Two minutes after the self cleaning cycle, an interlock device will
activate, preventing the door from being opened. The

DOOR INTERLOCK

WARNING

lights on to indicate that this interlock device has been

activated.
Where this symbol is not present, the number 12 flashing in the clock will
indicate that the door interlock device has engaged.

At the end of the cleaning cycle the door interlock device will remain
active until the temperature inside the oven has reached a safety
threshold. When the oven has cooled down, remove the residues from
the automatic cleaning cycle with a damp micro-fibre cloth.

Once the door interlock has been activated, no oven functions can be selected.
Wait for the DOOR INTERLOCK WARNING LIGHT to turn off

or the number 12 to stop flashing.

9.10 Setting the self cleaning cycle with delayed start

You can program the self-cleaning cycle to start anytime within a 12-hour period.

After having set the length of the self-cleaning cycle, press the button

to set the cycle start time

using the hour keys

 or

.

The internal segments will be steadily illuminated and the external segments will flash until the start
time equals the current time and the self-cleaning cycle engages.
