1. The appliance does not work and the displays are off.

• Is there a power failure?
• Is the plug properly inserted in the socket?
• Is the double-pole switch on?
• Has the fuse blown?
• Is the power cord damaged?

2. Temperature inside the compartments is not low enough.

• Are the doors closed properly?
• Is the appliance installed near a heat source?
• Is the temperature correctly set?
• Is the air circulation through the ventilation grilles at the bottom of the appliance obstructed?

3. Water collects at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment.

• Is the defrost water drain blocked?

(see “Appliance periodical maintenance and cleaning”)

4. The inside light is not working.

- Perform the checks for problem 1, and then:
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply. To inspect the bulb, refer to the instructions

and illustration on the attached product description sheet.

• Check the bulb and, if necessary, replace it with a new one of (max.  25 W available only from the

Assistance Service).

5. The red light on the control panel remains on and/or the acoustic alarm is activated.

The warning light and the alarm are activated for the following reasons:
1. Temperature alarm (red light on and acoustic signal activated)
• Large amounts of fresh food have been recently placed inside the freezer
• The freezer door does not close perfectly (see chapter “How to operate the freezer compartment”)
2. “Power failure” alarm (red light on, acoustic signal activated and freezer display flashing)
• The appliance has undergone a power failure (see chapter “How to operate the freezer compartment”)
3. ”Faulty freezer sensor” alarm (red light on, acoustic signal activated and the letter C is present on

the freezer display)

• The freezer compartment temperature sensor is faulty, however the appliance continues to work

with an emergency procedure. Call assistance.

4. “Faulty refrigerator sensor” alarm (red light on, acoustic signal activated and the letter C or E is

present on the refrigerator display)

• A refrigerator compartment temperature sensor is faulty, however the appliance continues to work

with an emergency procedure. Call assistance

Notes:

The front edge of the appliance may be hot. This prevents the formation of condensation and
is not a defect.

If the temperature cannot be adjusted, check if the control panel lock is deactivated.
