Step 2.

Connect to the Network

1.

Make sure that the computer, which you will install and perform Storage
System Management, is powered off and connected to the network hub /
switch.

2.

Make sure that the network hub / switch is powered off.

3.

Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any of the four network connector
(

) on the back of your storage system and the other end to the network

hub / switch).

Please make sure that in your network a DHCP server is present. Either as a
separate server or build into a router, that can be used instead of the hub /
switch.
