4. Initial Setting
4.1 Switch setting (EtherCAT ID)
Set the EtherCAT ID to “000 - 999” using the combination of rotary switches.
The EtherCAT ID of the controller is set using the rotary switches.
Also, the EtherCAT ID can be set by the EtherCAT master device regardless of the switch
combination.
To set the EtherCAT ID through the EtherCAT master device, refer to the manual of the EtherCAT
master device.
Caution
When the EtherCAT ID is set by the EtherCAT master device, the setting by the switch will be invalid.
When using the switch setting as EtherCAT ID again, please be sure to set the value to "0" by the
EtherCAT master device before using.

Caution
Turn OFF the power supply while setting the switch.
The rotary switch should be set with a small watchmaker’s screwdriver.
