Front Panel LED Descriptions

Front Panel of the Cable Modem

Ø

POWER: Indicates that the cable modem is ready.

Ø

USB: Lights up when the cable modem and PC are linked by the USB cable.

Ø

ENET: Lights up when the cable modem and PC are linked by the Ethernet
cable.

Ø

SEND: Indicates that data is transmitting from the cable modem to the cable
modem system.

Ø

RECV: Indicates that data is being received from CMTS to the cable modem.

Ø

S YNC: Indicates the connection status between the cable modem and the
CM system.

Ø

READY: Indicates that the cable modem has finished the ranging/
registration process and is ready to send/receive data.
