Site Survey
The Site Survey screen displays available wireless networks.
Choose one of them to connect to by double-clicking on an entry.
SSID
– Service Set ID. See page 16 for details.
BSSID
– Basic Service Set ID. See page 19 for details.
Channel
– The radio channel on which the access point
operates. See page 20 for details.
Encryption
– This shows if WEP has been enabled. If there is a
key icon in the column, the encryption function is enabled.
Signal
– This signifies the signal strength from the station to the
listed access points.
Network Type
– This shows the operating mode of listed access
points. (See page 16 for a definition of Operating Mode.)
