Configuring Your

Computer

Using IPCONFIG

1. Click the “Start” button, click “Run” and type “command”.

2. Press “OK” and a black command prompt will appear.

3. Type “ipconfig” and press enter

4. Verify that your IP Address is 192.168.2.xxx. If so, you can 

now use the web interface of the SMC2870W to configure 
additional advanced settings. If your IP Address is completely 
different, please go to the “Configure Your IP Address” section 
below.
