Housings
“ZUP” power supply unit housings should be selected after the unit parameters are defined,
out of the offer of renowned manufacturers, such as ZPAS, Rittal, Hager, ETI, Prefel and Sabaj.
The housings are made of steel sheet or aluminium panels. Depending on the space requirements
inside the housing, hanging and free-standing cabinets are available, with one or two doors. Due
to the systemic solutions, large power supply units may be enclosed inside more than one
housing, by connecting the housing bodies.
The decisive parameters for the type of housing to be applied are as follows:
•
number and type of selected modules of “ZUP” power supply units
•
installation location (indoor/outdoor)
Power supply units installed outdoor are made as free-standing cabinets, placed on a base.
Inside these housings there is always a module for heating and ventilating the cabinet interior.
All components of the “ZUP” unit are placed in sealed housings (IP54). Depending on the
number and type of selected modules and the place of installation, the housings may have the
following dimensions:
