MZSW Module

Power Supply Unit for Fire Safety Fan Motors
A single module consists of the protection circuit of the energy receiver and the final
control element of the electrical connection. The protection circuit of the fan motors consists
of self-acting motor switches (e.g. PKZM0 or NZMH2 type) with adjustable actuation set
points. The protection circuit of the frequency converter consists of thermal fuses (e.g. FWC
type). Power contactors (e.g. DILM) or MCD201 and MCD500 Danfoss soft starters, or FC101
and FC102 Danfoss frequency converters serve as connecting elements in the power circuit.
The devices included in the modules are additionally equipped with ancillary contacts
making it possible to monitor their present state (whether they have acted or not).
The frequency converter can have braking resistors attached in case when it supplies
fans working with quick-change rotation. The converter is able to receive voltage signals
within the range from 0 to 10 V DC, determining set rpm of the powered motor.
