If a lamp fails, or if a replacement message appears on the UF55/UF55w projector’s
screen, a qualified person can replace the projector lamp. Don’t access the service
panel if you don’t have a replacement lamp and instructions.
WARNING
• Refer to the safety warnings and precautions published in the
UF55/UF55w Projector User’s Guide ( document 133564 ).
• Do not attempt to service the projector other than performing routine lamp
replacement. Other than the lamp module, there are no user-serviceable parts
inside the unit.
• This projector detects its own remaining lamp life. Replace the lamp when the
lamp life warning message appears. If you continue to use the projector after
the replacement message appears, the lamp might shatter or burst, scattering
glass throughout the projector head.
