To configure Intel AMT
1. Enter the default Intel AMT password (
admin
) when prompted, and then follow the on-screen
instructions to change the Intel AMT password.
IMPORTANT
o
New passwords must be between eight and 32 characters long and must contain at
least one of each of the following character types:
o
Uppercase letters (A–Z)
o
Lowercase letters (a–z)
o
Digits (0–9)
o
Non-alphanumeric characters
o
Record this password in a safe place: the password cannot be recovered afterward.
2. Select
Intel® AMT Configuration
, and then press ENTER.
3. Select
Activate Network Access
, and then press ENTER.
4. Press Y.

5. Select
MEBX Exit
, and then select
Y
.
The room system restarts.
Remotely managing the room system
After you configure the room system for Intel AMT, you can connect to it and manage it remotely.
Using the embedded web management interface
The room system appliance includes an embedded web page for the administration of Intel AMT:
