USING YOUR
BACON MASTER
Enjoy healthier bacon by using your new Bacon Master
to drain the grease away from the bacon during cooking
without splattering or burning. Bacon comes in many
thicknesses and types so it’s important to experiment to
make your bacon perfect.
1. Place the Bacon Master on a flat, dry surface.
2. Plug the power cord into a standard 120 volt AC electri
-
cal outlet. NOTE: the plug is polarized (one prong is wider
than the other) and should be used in a polarized outlet.
3. If you want to use the “Pre-Heat” setting for thicker ba
-
con or crisper bacon, turn the knob to the “Pre-Heat” set
-
ting and wait for the chime to sound.
4. If you do not use the “Pre-Heat” setting, simply hang
bacon strips over the Hot Plate arranging them so they do
not touch.
5. Lower the Bacon Cover over the bacon and adjust the
Cook Dial to the desired cooking level. Do not touch the Hot
Plates while the unit is cooking.
6. The bacon is done cooking when the chime sounds.
More time may be added to the Cook Dial if bacon is under
-
cooked for your taste. Note that different brands and thick
-
nesses of the cut will vary the cooking times.
7. Allow to cool and then use a wooden or silicone utensil
to remove the bacon. To avoid scratching the non-stick sur
-
face of the Hot Plates do not use sharp utensils to remove
the bacon.
8. To cook additional bacon, remove the Drip Tray, drain the
fat and repeat the above steps. Do not touch the Hot Plates.
9. When finished, unplug the Bacon Master from the electri
-
cal outlet. Allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
